Exhibitor Information

Forty-Third Annual Conference: October 3-6, 2019, Portland, OR

We are delighted that so many publishers and organizations will be exhibiting at this year's conference of the German Studies Association. We hope that all our members will take the opportunity to visit the exhibitors' space at the hotel. The following information is intended for the exhibitors themselves.

Exhibitors can register for the conference at https://www.thegsa.org/members/conference. You will receive a reservation link for the hotel group rate when you have registered. Once the exhibitor list is finalized, we will ask you to send the names of your representatives and your preferred organization name for conference materials.

Exhibit hours are as follows:

  • Thursday, October 3: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Friday, October 4: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM 
  • Saturday, October 5: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Sunday, October 6: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Your table(s) will be available for setup starting Thursday, October 3, at 11:00 AM.

Of course, you should feel free to be flexible in your hours. Most exhibitors do close shortly before 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in order to participate in the GSA cash bar and banquet on Friday, and assorted receptions on Saturday.

Advertising:

If you would like to advertise in the printed program, please note that the deadline for submission of advertising copy is June 7. Download the reservation form now. Queries regarding specific deadlines, costs, formats, etc., should be directed to Andrea Harney (journalsadvertising@press.jhu.edu) at the Johns Hopkins University Press. The printed program will be distributed to the entire membership in mid-summer.

The Shipper’s Return Address should include the shipper’s name, address, and telephone number. Heavy boxes (over 50 pounds) should be identified so that our personnel can avoid injury while lifting them.
